Thanks so much for the reply ............

i)what we can show is ads that we have given to sell the cemetary plots in several newspapers and online sites. Hope the jewellery cost wd count full or wd it count in 1:3 ratio ?

ii)Regarding the house we have to figure it out what it costs now ?? it was evaluated 2 yrs earlier. But wont USCIS say 'where wd u live if u sell ur house' .... what i mean that wont selling it be considered as a financial hardship ??

iii) I have a house in india where my perents live , but its transferred to my name by my dad.So can we use its valuation ??

iv) I also got some money in Indian banks & some bonds & diposits. Can those be shown too ??

Thanks again

Marital assets are assets, so yes, your assets can be listed. Every problem you raise, has a solution. Maybe they aren't simple and easy solutions but what about the immigration process is simple. Sounds like you can qualify fine without a co-sponser. You just have some work and figuring to do.

Thanks Pushbrk for the confidence given. So to figure it out as assets we can show things to be added to $16863 as income :-

i) Cemetary Grounds Inherited from perents : $4191 assets/3 = $1,397. With proofs like ads that we are looking to sell those and the valuation papers.

ii) My House in India : $4000. Can i add this in full or same as 1:3 ratio? Evidence as the transfer paper on my name & valuation paper.

iii) Jewellery valued at $4,000. Can i add this in full or same as 1:3 ratio? Valuation paper as evidence.

iv) My money in Indian Bank about $3,000.Can i add this in full or same as 1:3 ratio? evidennce being recent bank statement.

v) My bonds, fixed diposits, post office diposits in India that can be encashed within a year is about $1,000. Scanned copies as evidence. Can i add this in full or same as 1:3 ratio?

I wd be highly thankful or equations & figuring given. Thanks a lot !!

Assets are not income. All assets cout 1:3. You just list the assets in full and provide the supporting documentation. They'll do the math and counting part.

Doesn't she have equity in a home? List that too, as equity. Value minus mortgage balance = equity.
