steps after case completes at nvc?

hello all, is there anything else to submit to the consulate after your case completed at NVC? they way i understood was once NVC completes the case they assign the interview date and the petitioner and beneficiary get's a copy of that appointment letter. but now i m seeing other member's time line and they have packet 3 & 4 ? what are these packet 3 n 4? do i need to complete these ..we are on CR1.

Got Ohio Permit: 10/31/08, Took the test, Failed. Retest 11/1/08 Failed, Retest 11/4/08 Passed, Got her license, no road test required in Ohio, she had international license!

Well packet 3 is the interview letter and packet 4 the medical (where to do it) and what to bring on the day of the interview... There's nothing else to submitt, no more fees... :innocent::thumbs::thumbs: \

Packet 3 was from back in the day before we had to send in all the documents that go along with the DS-230 to the NVC. They used to send packet 3 with the list of documents to the beneficiary and then packet 4 which is the interview letter. So packet 3 no longer exists.
