Hello out there! I called the NVC and spoke to a representative last week. The rep was extremely nice and helpful. She told me the Packet 4 had been mailed to my wife in Serbia on July 28 and our interview at the American Embassy in Belgrade is on September 30. My question for you folks who have had their Packet 4 mailed - how long does it take to arrive and do both the petitioner and the beneficiary each receive the identical Packet 4 information? Thanks for your replies and good luck!

It depends on how reliable the mail system in the beneficiary's country is. In Colombia it is not reliable at all so people download packet 3 from the US embassy's web site and send them all the required forms so they can then get packet 4. But in theory, it should take about 2-3 weeks from the time the embassy receives their case from the NVC.

Thanks for your reply. I will be in Serbia about 3 weeks prior to our interview so if she hasn't received hers I'll have mine. Good luck and I hope things go quickly for you.
