For all of you who are into Prog or who love Gong & Hawkwind... Tim Blake is in deep trouble. The French Court ruled against him. So if any of you would like to help we have a number of albums for sale on the Bazaar - albums contributed by bands to help support Tim... please buy an album... every little bit helps.

Paul and I met on the Bazaar on the 14th January (he joined my progressive rock forum that day)

July 3rd he flew to England to meet me

We fell in love while he drove all over the place coz I cannot read maps (we were supposed to go to Ingleton - but touched Darlington 4 times, Pierce Bridge 6 times, Scotch Corner twice and Bernard Castle twice and we never did make it to Ingleton)

It has been so long and so much has happened in between...

Arrived in Houston on October 29th 2006

Married 17th November 2006

Lost my father 8th January 2007 (all dates are a blur after this)

Conditional Green Card dated 24th October 2007

Tim Blake has been a part of both Gong and Hawkwind... both these bands are legendary ones. 2 years ago Tim was in an accident in France, where a young man who was drunk, had no seat-belt on and whose car had bald tyres crashed into Tim. This young man nearly knocked down a woman before smashing into Tim. The young man died and Tim himself was declared ead but brought back to life by the helicopter ambulance in the nick of time.

It was not until months after the accident, with Tim still struggling to cope with his injuries and mental trauma, that he was informed that an anaysis of his blood had shown Cannabis THC levels. This in no way proves Tim was stoned for cannabis THC can be found upto a month of last having had a smoke.

The policeman at the scene of the accident had observed that it could not be determined who was responsible for the accident. Yet Tim has been charged with involuntary manslaughter. The court did not call the investigating officer to testify; they made no attempt to track the witness who had come close to being knocked down by the driver. The prosecuting lawyer rubbished the official report, slaughtering Tim beyond belief in his venomous speech, and screaming Cannabis and 'the English on their clouds'

The court charged Tim with Involuntary Manslaughter yesterday. We are trying to raise funds to help with his legals fees, as he plans to appeal.

Several bands have contributed CDz - the sale of these goes to help Tim Blake. Please help by buying a cd or two.
