on the G325a at the bottom do I fill in the box that says naturalization, other, or perminant resident. Not sure what the difference is between naturalization and perminant resident. This is for my wife who came over on a k1 visa.

An alien resident is just that, an alien resident.... A naturalized person is a US Citizen....

YMMV

Naturalization is optional. USCIS does not look to eventualities. What is the situation or application being submitted right now? In addition, she won't be eligible for naturalization until she has been a permanent resident first....

Naturalization is the process of becoming a US Citizen (Filing N-400), your wife will first become a Resident (Green-card holder) Filing I-485, they are NOT a US citizen.

Filing for Naturalization can only be done 3 years after getting a green-card if married to a US citizen, and 5 years if not married to a US citizen.

thats the only one I cant get to work out of all the forms, All I care to know is simple which box to fill in. I really wish I could look at that form cause I dont like asking questions. Another thing is that my wife got an 1-94 number but no alien registration number that i can find. Is that good to put at the end of the G325a.

A# is on I-129F approval notice, should be on the K-1 visa itself... also sometimes written on the I-94 (my wife's was).

Check the box - Status as Permanent Resident
