Hey you all friends

I will be flyign to US in September 28 cos of my fiancee´s work. Anyways I wanna bring all my documents and forms already done from here (I´m in Perú) and enclose my certificate of marriage for the next process. We decided get marry in NY (Catskill) something little and familiar (country wedding ) first I must appear in person for my marriage licence there. I would like to know about how much is the fee for the next step I mean my adjust condition ( social security and all of that I have been thinking to start to work in January) I found sound information saying is almost $1000 anyways I would thanks ur advicers as usual and tips

In NY, you need to appear together (the city clerk's office) at least 24 hours before the ceremony to get the marriage license. The cost is $35. You can have the ceremony 24 hours or later after it's issued. If the license is issued Wed @ 3:03pm. The ceremony can start anytime after Thursday at 3:03pm, they are very exact. If you get married in the courthouse, it's $25 for the ceremony. That's in NYC, I don't know about Catskill.

To adjust status to permanent resident (green card) it costs $1010. When you file the AOS (adjustment of status) application, you should also file the EAD (Employmeny authorization Document) at the same time. It's included in one fee if you together with AOS. You can also file for AP (Advanced Parole). This document allows you to leave and return to the US

There is no fee for SS number.

also need to add some money for translation of birth certificate and medical exam transcript. dont forget to bring your vaccination report with you.
