Ok, I looked for the info here but can't find it. On the papers I received, they say that the processing time is estimated at four to six months from receipt of the checklist at their office to the interview date. Is it really that long? I cannot believe I'll have to wait another six months

If you click on the chart in my signature, you'll see that the average wait is around 2-4 months, so it's definitely a bit of a wait, but not six months.

I can add you to the chart if you want to PM me your info!

I see in your timeline it mentions you were denied entry to the U.S. once... be prepared to answer the question if you have ever been denied entry and why, they asked me that in the interview.
