There will be 4 of us :)

So we are good to go!

Thanks guys! :)[/color]

None of Nick's family or friends will be attending?

"...My hair's mostly wind,

My eyes filled with grit

My skin's white then brown

My lips chapped and split

I've lain on the prairie and heard grasses sigh

I've stared at the vast open bowl of the sky

I've seen all the castles and faces in clouds

My home is the prairie and for that I am proud…

If You're not from the Prairie, you can't know my soul

You don't know our blizzards; you've not fought our cold

You can't know my mind, nor ever my heart

Unless deep within you there's somehow a part…

A part of these things that I've said that I know,

The wind, sky and earth, the storms and the snow.

Best say that you have - and then we'll be one,

For we will have shared that same blazing sun." - David Bouchard

Oh yeah if its only 4 of you then u are good to go !!!

when is the big day !??????????????

congrats you will have a wonderful day ;)

I got married in central park !!!!!!!!!

Did u get ur permit?!

u need one ;)

CONGRATSSSSSSSSSSSSS

I was just going to remind her that she will need a permit.

Actually I won't.

For parties of 20 people and under there is no permit required. I've already spoken to the Minister who will be performing the ceremony. She has married many many people in Central park and informed me we don't need one. There will be 4 of us :)

So we are good to go!

Thanks guys! :)

No, we are having my best friend Shelby as my MOH and his best friend Jason as our best man.

That's it.

We will be having a party in September when my family is able to come down. It wouldn't exactly be fair that all his family gets to see us married and none of mine do, would it?

So we've decided to do it this way :)

Make sure honey!!! everyone needs a pass to do stuff at the park ..

its only 25 dollars and it saves ur spot its actualy for parties of 20 people and less i got mine because the park rangers are so annoying. ...

if u go into the central park webpage it says that u will need it .. It saves you the spot for 2 hours =)

Thats what I did i had 10 people with me

I'm sure, I checked the website as well:

Information on Wedding Ceremonies

Elsewhere in Central Park

Other popular places include The Pond, Cherry Hill, Bow Bridge, Shakespeare Garden, East Green, Cedar Hill, the Mall, Hernshead, 100th Street Pool, and Harlem Meer. For permits for these and other areas of Central Park (required only for parties of 20 people or more) there is a fee of $25. For information, please call the Special Events & Permits Office of the NYC Department of Parks & Recreation at 212-408-0226. Or visit their website: www.nyc.gov/parks

We are getting married at 11am and our ceremony is about 10 minutes. The minister says she's done dozens there and if people are in there she kindly asks them to leave and most people are very accommodating.

Thanks for thinking of me though.

I guess the sawed off shotgun she carries around has nothing to do with it. Have photogenic time on Saturday or Len will show up and well...just take lots of pics and run like Hell if you hear a high-powered Rascal. That's all I'm saying. :o I must respectfully decline my invitation as I have a previous engagement in Carnarsie pursuant to my hobby as an amateur cobbler; I'm fitting someone for cement shoes.

This is so cool, Laura. Getting married this Saturday, wow!

I don't know if you have made your choice yet but I would go with the Ladies Pavillion. It looks perfect and even though we all want a sunny day for our wedding, if there's a little bit of rain then you'll be covered (just checked the weather forecast and you should have a nice day ;) ).

And for pictures, the shadow provided by the pavillion will give softer shadows on your faces, so it all works out.

I'm looking forward to seeing pictures next week and in the meantime, have a happy and wonderful wedding! :)
