Hi, does anyone know if my wife needs to bring the original I-864 document to her visa interview in Manila? I sent in the orginal to the NVC of course and they said they send all the original documents to the embassy. So when the embassy says bring the documents to your interview isn't it ok to bring copies of the I-864 and other documents?

Did anyone have a interview at Manila and they asked you for originals event though the NVC sent them the originals?

Thanks for any help again:-)

NVC will sends the orig. docs to USEM MNL Embassy. If u have an extra orig. copies u can send it to ur wife along with the photocopies of the documents u submitted to NVC. She MUST bring original documents related to question: PROOF OF A GENUINE RELATIONSHIP/MARRIAGE, such as: pictures, emails, remittances, phone bills & etc anything that will support ur marriage is not just a moro-moro (fake). She will be fine David. Don't worry too much. Good luck.

upon my interview, i have all the documents needed (all photocopy including the I864) but my CO didn't bother to look it (I864) because he(CO) handle the original.. all his concern are the picture, email, chat log, remittances, phone bills.. good luck to your wife for her upcoming interview..:thumbs:

On my Interview experience yesterday, they didnt ask for the I-864..but i suggest that she'll download again the DS-230 1&2 coz i gave that form when i went to get a stab number..they need the appointment letter,2 2x2 pics and the DS-230..The pre-screener only asked for my husbands' W2 and 1040 and asked for our pics, emails, western union receipt and our phone bills...ehehehe

Hi, so did you just bring copies of the W2 and 1040 and I-864?

My wife's interview is AUG 22 and all I sent to her was copies of those forms.
