Manila Doc. Verification Delbros Process

Hi there guys, in relation to the topic. I am just wondering if I am going to pay our

Docs. Verifications next month what should I do. These are my concerns:

1) When we applied for I-130 and the rest of the documents being used during the entire process was my married name.

2) I am using my Phil. Passport under my single name until now, never change nor amended.

When texting delbros what name should I use? MARRIED FROM THE PETITION APPLICATION OR SINGLE NAME FROM THE PASSPORT? I read a topic before one of Shape's thread about texting using married name against single name cause delays. We've been waiting for so long already I don’t want to give confusion to the delbros about using names as I want to be specific for what is best for us to avoid further delays. Does anyone here give me some significant input/s? Thanks much.

I think Filiricans you need to tell them your single name for sure becuse that is of course the name that will be used to look up your documents at NSO, maybe call them and ask them if they need your married name to but the Embassy should know that from yuor visa case number:-)

Grace is the one you talk to at USEM (1-909-101-7878loc 5184 or 5185). Mind you that this number is especially intended for USCs. Meaning they are more cordial to USCs than to the Pinays. :)

I already finished my interview on July 18, 2008. A week before that I paid Delbros thru metrobank. Texted them, and they confirmed on receiving the payment. On the day of the interview at window 37, they were asking me if I already payed delbros. I said yes. And they ask for the bank receipt from metrobank so I gave it to them. Now what else do I need to do? Do i need to call the embassy to follow up, or call delbros instead?

I actually printed 3 copies of each DS form when I filled it up online. You need 2 copies of the DS 156 & 157 form. (one of the DS 157 form copy should have a validation of your Visa payment by any authorized BPI branch. Don't forget that. Its ok to xerox it but be sure its a clear copy. The pictures though you need to glue individually. 2x2 US visa passport picture with a white background. Glue it on your DS 156 form. Only the AOS ( Affidavit of Support ) needs to be notarized, have your partner notarize it in the US. Most Fedex has notarization services, so when your partner sends the docs, have the AOS notarize at Fedex as well. FITRs and W2s need not to be notarized. Although the USEM ask for the latest copy, that will be the 2007 FITR and W2s. They return the other older ones ( 2006 down). Call Delbros too and update them of your DV, I am having trouble with mine now, and is causing the delay for the release of my Visa.

Word of advise, memorize all the data you put in the DS forms, they ask questions on that. Be consistent with your answers, and answer the questions only, dont elaborate, Good Luck on your interview.

I guess this is how the system goes:

1. We pay DV through Metrobank.

2. We inform Delbros through text that we have already paid for DV, after many hours of waiting, they will reply that they received the payment.

3. Delbros will inform USEM that we had paid the DV.

4. USEM will send a request to NSO that so and so's documents need to be verified. The requests are sent to NSO every monday.

5. USEM picks up the results of the documents verifed every friday and were sent to USEM.

The problem may occur when:

1. The applicants didnt pay DV in advance.

2. When the applicants didnt inform Delbros that they had paid DV.

3. When Delbros didnt inform USEM that the applicant paid DV already.

4. When there is a delay in sending requests to NSO and delay in picking up the results of DV

Numbers to call:

Delbros: 023392761 loc 104

USEM: 02-3012000 loc 5184 or 5185 look for Grace or Lorraine

I hope USEM can fine tune this document verification process soon! God bless you!

Hi chris-lei and to all vj members :) . need some help from you guys...

I just want to ask if I can pay DELBROS now even if I haven't set an appointment date yet with the embassy. I just want to make sure that all the documents are complete once I set an appointment date (maybe i'll call next week and set my appt. date 1st week of next month) and since most of the applicants are having problems with DELBROS I want to pay my document verification fee as soon as possible or one month ahead of my interview date. Is it okey if i'll pay Delbros before setting an interview date? Hope for your response.

God bless you!

you can pay the Document Verification fee right away (a month or more) as soon as you have your MNL case number. :) its better to do it early than paying a few weeks ahead of your interview date so as to avoid all the Delbros and NSO horror stories you've been reading on this site.

on a serious note, pay them ahead of time so as to get away from all the hassle this has been causing most of us visa applicants. :) hope this helps!

don't forget to send them a text message regarding your payment. don't just sit back and relax. give them a call to check as well if they are already starting to roll your documents out to NSO. good luck!!!!

You can use the Delbros web site or you can email them at deliveries@delbros.com thats what I did and I got a reply the same day.

Example: MNL2008XXXXXX When is my case forward to NSO? I made the payment on Aug 1, 2008

If you want to track the status same web site at the "Shipment Tracking area" type your MNL2008XXXXX01 you must add the "01" at the end of your case number. You may get an error from the web site just keep on trying coz I got in couple of times then got an error.

Goodluck,

how long from the day the delbros sent DV to NSO?

how long does it take DV to get to embassy from NSO?

I paid DV last July 16, 2008 and sent sms to Delbros, asking when did they sent our DV to NSO and replied they sent it on July 24, 2008.

HOW LONG?
