Hi I currently have a K1 visa and I'm going to send off papers my AOS, EAD, and Advance Parole in a few days but i have some questions first

where can i find my alien registration number

in the instructions for AOS of form I-485 it says under Evidence of eligibility #15. B. "Attach a copy of the fiance(e) petition approval notice, a copy of your marriage certificate, and your Form I-94." Are they asking for a copy of my Form I-94 of the original?

and also,

the instructions for I-864A on the uscis site

http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/men...00045f3d6a1RCRD

says,

"The signatures on the I-864A must be notarized by a notary public or signed before an immigration or consular officer" There is no where on the form for a notary public to sign it, date it, or write when their commission expires. I'm confused by this. Please help?

thanks alot!

please forgive me if i posted it in the wrong forum.

Your alien registration number is your A number which is found on your I-94. I think the I-485 form should tell you where to find it! Many people have no idea the alien registration number is the A#.

The I-94 is a photocopy of it front and back. Remove the staple, then staple it back to your passport after you've copied it. Again, it should say "...a copy of your I-94."

Sometimes these forms can tell you in fine print what to look for, where to find information, but they don't. Sigh...

Good luck!
