Questions about W2 forms

Hi everyone I have a question about the W2 form we've gotten a slip saying that we have to submit all Federal income tax documentation submitted to the Internal Revenue Services for the most recent tax year. This includes the most recent federal income tax return.

So, are they saying that they need the 2007 W2 form and transcripts. But we only submitted the W2 forms for 2004, 2005, and 2006. I guess they want the transcript for 05, 06, and 07, along with the W2 forms. Do you think that I can only send the W2 form for 2007. I hope someone can help me with this please. Thank You

Form 1040 (A, EZ) & all schedules and attachments = Transcripts.

It appears you submitted only the W-2's but failed to submit the Form 1040 and any other schedules (if any)

Thank you so much. Do you know the fastest way I can get a copy of the transcript. I know that if I do it with the IRS it will take about 10 days to get it back. I was wondering if there is a site that I can go to and get it online.

Ummm ..... the transcripts come from the IRS...so regardless what you do it will be from them

I always used returns... I am sure if you go to irs.gov or do asearch on here the number will come up
