Hello!

I just want to share how was my biometrics appointment here in South Florida. I thought it would be in Miami, but was at INS Center in Davie. It was scheduled to 11am, I got there at 10:50 and left at 11:20!!! So fast!

Just needed to fill a paper w/ my informations, waited for some minutes and then was my turn!

People was nice there! :thumbs: Hope to have the same good experience on the interview day! ;)

12/21/04 - NOA1 - CSC

10/27/05 - Approved!!! NOA2 online

11/04/05 - NVC received our case from CSC

11/09/05 - NVC Forwarded our case to Rio de Janeiro - here we go!!

11/14/05 - Consulate received the case!

11/29/05 - Medical - done!

12/09/05 - Sent Packet 3 to the Consulate (never received mine in the mail!!)

12/16/05 - Received interview date by email!! : )

12/20/05 - Received packet 4 in the mail!!

01/13/06 - Interview date!!! APPROVED!!

01/21/06 - Arrived in the US

02/17/06 - Got married : ))

AOS

03/06 - Applied for SSN and received it (less then 15 days)

04/12/06 - Sent AOS/EAD and AP to Chicago

04/19/06 - NOA 1 - AOS / EAD / AP

04/27/06 - AOS touched

05/15/06 - AOS and EAD Biometrics appointment

06/27/06 - AP Approved!! : ) and EAD touched

06/28/06 - EAD Approved!! : )

06/29/06 - Received interview appointment letter - 08/18/06 - Cancelled!

07/29/06 - Received new interview date - 08/08/06!!

08/08/06 - Interview date! Approved but FBI name check pending...

09/07/06 - Received an email saying a welcome letter was mailed for our case!! : ))

09/19/06 - Received Green Card!!! : ))

--Jan 13,2006 Entered USA as Visitor (B2) ( I-94 is valid till end of June,2006)

--March 28,2006 Married in Naperville ,Illinois to United States Citizen

--April 5, 2006 Medical examination (I 693)+ Vaccination supplement form completed (chicago)

--April, 18,2006 AOS Package(I 130,I 485, I765)+supporting documents sent (chicago Lock Box)(DAY 1)

--May 1, 2006 BIOMETRIC APPOINTMENTS ( I 765 , I 485) received by mail for May 6, 2006

--May 6, 2006 BIOMETRICS TAKEN BY USCIS in Naperville (Day 19)

--July 21,2006 Initial Interview but waiting for FBI NAME CLEARANCE (Day 92)

--April 25, 2009 Infopass appointment to inquire my case : Result case was approved in June of 2008 but no body bothered to update my file (Day almost 610 )

--June 29 ,2009 10 year green card with date of Perm resident June 2008 received (Day almost 680 since interview )

--July 2011 Citizenship Interview :

-- Nov 2011 Oath Ceremony -US Citizen

We had the same experience there last Thursday. My wifes appointment was for 6:00pm, we got there at 5:20pm and was out the door by 6:00pm.... It was the shortest waiting time I have ever experienced at a government agency.......way to go!!!

K-1 Adventure

9/04 - 2/06

Met in Peru, Engaged, Successful I-129F, K-1 interview and Married

AOS / EAD / AP and Remove Condition

3/06/06 - AOS/EAD/AP process begins

3/31/06 - AOS/EAD/AP package Fed Ex'd to Chicago

4/03/06 - AOS/EAD/AP package signed & received

4/10/06 - NOA1's received for AOS, EAD and AP via U.S. Mail

4/11/06 - All 3 checks cashed / $745.00 poorer but worth every penny

4/27/06 - Receive Biometrics appointment letter scheduled for 5/11/06

5/11/06 - Biometrics completed

6/02/06 - Receive notice that AOS only has been transferred to California to speed things along

6/07/06 - E-mail that AOS received in California

6/13/06 - Welcome letter mailed by California... yeah baby

6/17/06 - Official welcome letter received and card will arrive within 3 weeks

6/19/06 - Card arrived in the mail.......

3/08/07 - Trip back to Peru for 10 days and our Religous Wedding

3/2007 - We're Pregnant

12/19/07 - Sebastien Joshua born 8:29am 7lbs 2oz 19.5"

3/14/08 - I-751 Removing Condition is in the mail

3/20/08 - Checked cashed

3/17/08 - I-751 Package signed and received

3/24/08 - Case moved to Vermont

4/17/08 - Biometrics completed

4/21/08 - Touched...........

6/16/08 - Touched once again........

11/3/08 - Touched again.. this is begining to feel good
