can't believe my NOA1 says 240 days..it's the longest term out of all people from july. i want so bad to go to my home country for christmas! :(

Ha, don't get upset, my notice says that my documents were transfered to National Benefits Center (originally sent to Texas) and I have to wait for 730 days!!! :blink:

ouch!! i guess my estimation is still optimistic compared to yours! Good luck!

When I look at the July filers timelines you all semed to receive your NOA quickly. My check has been cashed but I have received nothing official by mail.

i bet you'll get it in the mail today! :)

Sent our information to Nebraska Service Center, check cleared 7/29, recieved NOA today. Unfortunately ours has a time of 365 days. How'd you guys get so lucky?

If you move to out of nowhere, probably you don't have many of people in front of you. ^^

So it is not lucky. It is one of perk from the fact when you live in rural area.

But I think we may see much faster response from USCIS.

Chief of USCIS appeared in LA a couple of days ago, and he mentioned that processing time for LA can be shortened from 12 months to 6 months, and they hired 86 more people for interview process.

I don't know whether we can trust 100% or not.

But at least they are moving to improve processing time.

Also, USCIS made agreement with FBI to make 98% of name check request done within 30 days, and rest 2% within 90 days. I think they are expecting that agreement archieved by middle of next year.

Woo hoo! I remember the movie something called "Iron Jack".

Probably I'm living a little warmer place than you.

Let's see what's happening with your case.

Sometimes that number doesn't work as it says.

If you don't have much of problems from FBI namecheck and fingerprint,

you will be o.k.

Mine says 75 days, but I don't have interview letter yet.

I foolishly waited way too long in applying for my citizenship. I really don't know why, I always thought I had plenty of time.

Well my green card expires 3/27/2009, what do I do? I guess there is a chance it may all be done by then but should I apply for an extension just to be safe???

Any advice would be great.

Adding myself to the list. Filed N-400 together with my spouse. We are not from the same foreign countries.

Anyway, I forgot when we mailed out the N-400 forms or when we received our NOA1. I however have the priority date : 7/15/08 and the Biometrics appointment date : 8/9/08

Also it says on the NOA1, expected time is 210 days.
