Hi everyone,

i'm new here and after reading a lot i would just like to ask few questions. We decided to take lawyer to help us with everything (after i discovered this page and saw that its maybe better without lawyer). Lawyer sent all documents at May 20 and we received case number at June 3 (i saw that at their page). Since then nothing Papers are sent to Vermont. I'm croatian and i would like to ask if somebody from croatia is right now in the process? Our lawyer told us that usually takes up to 9 months until interwiev, is that right?

You will want to click on your Portals page (see top of forum) and it will show you a bunch of others who have filed through Croatia. You can also check out the link to the Embassy Info and read reviews from others about how long it will take from NOA2 to interview and what is required of you.

Right now Vermont is taking about 3 months from NOA1 date but this fluctuates all the time. Historically, it is the faster of the two centers.

Welcome to VJ. I myself is new to K-1 and initially wanted to use a Lawyer till I found VJ. Now I just send my package out 3 days ago, all did it myself with the help of VJ.

From what I read, it usually take 3-6 months to get NOA 2. Looks like you still have few months of waiting for NOA 2 and then some additional months to setup the interview. Don't feel bad, all of us are in the same boat and playing the "Waiting Game".

It's very likely you will not see anything but perhaps a few touches in the next couple of months so try not to worry. It's time to put on your patient hat and join the rest of us in the waiting room. You can join one of the May or June threads to chat with others who filed at the same time. That will help.

Hi Tihana, I'm from Zagreb, Croatia and went through the process, you can see my timeline in the signature, if you have any questions I'll be glad to help, just send me a message. There's only a few people from Croatia that recently went to the process.

Thank you KimandRuss, i found one your post and i just realized that i was watching wronge part of page to see if our case is touched. Our case is touched 02 July (I can't see if it was touched before?). Now i feel better
