Correcting beneficiaries G325

I just received the signed G325 back from my fiancée from overseas and she made a mistake on a question in the family name section in the third row of the form. Her mothers birth date was written incorrectly. Since it takes about 2 weeks for me to receive mail from her once she sends it would it be okay if I used white out or scratched through the incorrect birth date and hand write in the new one. Because I really I hope I don’t have to delay the process another 2+ weeks by having her send me a new copy. Thanks in advance.

yup, just correct it yourself as neatly as you can. I would imagine they are pretty used to seeing dates written the wrong way.
