Just an update:

Ladybutterfly was absolutely right, they checked and he was not in the system (SAVE) yet. They said they have to do an inquiry if we decided to proceded, which would take about 2 months. Otherwise we could wait, call back and check and when he is entered into the system go back and apply again. We are going to wait, will take a whole lot less time. I will just be calling every day. They said they do not give the letter unless you have applied. So I will check with his potential employer and see if they can start him without a Social.

I know being married to Mickey has its ups and downs. Especially with all this immigration stuff. Before I met Mickey I would have never guessed how much trouble falling in love with an alien would be. Guess I was lucky that he fell in love as well, I mean Minnie kept him on a pretty tight leash. Speaking of leash, she got custody of Pluto and Goofy only gets to visit on occasion, we live so far away it is hard for him to get away. Also I am sorry to say, but Mickey does not get any free tickets to Magic Kingdom. :lol:

By the way the EAD was "touched" again on Saturday May 13th on the USCIS system. What do you think that means?

03-04-2006 Received NOA on both AOS and EAD.

03-21-2006 Biometrics for AOS & EAD.(Our 3rd Wedding Anniversary)

03-22-2006 AOS & EAD Touched.

03-23-2006 AOS & EAD Touched.

03-31-2006 Emily's Birthday ~ 2 Years Old

03-31-2006 AOS & EAD Touched. (Could be from the AR-11 and I-865 Change of address forms).

04-03-2006 AOS & EAD Touched.

05-09-2006 USCIS Site states that EAD was approved.

05-11-2006 Received EAD Card in the mail.

06-05-2006 Received AOS Interview letter.

07-26-2006 AOS Interview - APPROVED.

07-31-2006 Received WELCOME letter in the mail.

07-31-2006 Received E-mail -- Card is on the way.

08-05-2006 Received Green Card -- Good for 10 years.

11-08-2006 New addition to the family - Anali Grace was born

they probably sent you another approval notice or something. Sometimes they like to do that!! Don't ask me why.
