So my husband and I went to the Social Security Office on May 30th, and applied for him a Social Security Number... they said that the verification of his immigration document (aka. work permit) did not go through, and they were sending it "electronically" and it would take up to one week for the work permit to be verified as real by the USCIS. So its been 2 weeks and 4 days on tuesday, so my husband and I called the Social Security office. They said that it STILL HAD NOT BEEN VERIFIED!!! ARGHH! So, they said they would try it electronically again and that they would also sent it through the mail?? What ever all this means! So... my husband is stuck with his EAD with no SSN so he can't work, still.

Has anyone else had this problem and is there anything we can do to see that he gets his Social Security Card soon?

Jesus holds the key to YOUR future! So why not put ALL your trust and faith in HIM?

The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? Though an army encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; though war rise up against me, yet I will be confident. (Psalm 27: 1, 3)
