I have a K-3 visa and arrived at the US last Mar 26, 2008. Last March 31, 2008 I filed my EAD (I-765) without filing my AOS...I did not file my AOS yet because the 2007 ITR of my husband was not filed yet waiting for my SSN and I have to undergo vaccination before filing the AOS...in a hurry to get my SSN...I filed the I-765 ahead of the AOS...I did my biometrics last May 3, 2008 but until now I don't received approval...My not filing the AOS together with EAD affects the approval of my EAD? Anybody could give me some advise please... Thanks...

28/01/2009:- Approval notice sent

29/01/2009:- AOS touched

30/01-2009:- I never thought I'd be typing this ---->10years green card received... USCIS, see you when I see you

it should not affect it.. they would have stated so.. besides they show the fees for the ead if you were not doing the aos.. you can either do it with the aos or without it.. we filed ead and aos may 13 2008 and just had the biometrics.. still waiting on the ead.. i called them and they said it takes about 75 working days.. but the guy doing the fingerprints said he should get it in two weeks(he really doesn't know).. so we just have to wait too..
