I am really confused about the whole vaccination progress. Can anybody tell me, if the HPV vaccination is required for the K1 or AOS?

I found out today that my insurance will pay for the vaccination. The problem is, that i probably wont get all the 3 shots done in time. Has anybody got the first two here and then the third one in the states? How much did you pay for the third?

I searched the forum for this but all the entries kind of confused  me even more, so if anybody went through this lately and knows the facts i would appreciate answers so much. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!

There is a HPV thread in the UK forum (http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=116959), I found a lot of interesting information there.

Apparently it is required for AOS, but only the first shot is required. You don't need to do the three shots before you leave your country.

:o I can't believe they are making immigrants get that vaccine! That just doesn't seem right. It was still experimental when it was approved and even we USC's don't have to have that vaccine.
