that's why me and my fiance opted for K1..it's much faster and lesser work than K3. when your gf comes and stay there, save all the tickets, boarding passes, hotel receipts, pictures..everything that will be a proof that you both are a couple. even phone bills, emails, chats.. goodluck!

Good morning

well i think you have to know the different between K1 and K3

K1 is fiance(e) visa which mean you can't file for that visa if you are married (so remember if you will marry her when she will come to Egypt you can't file for K1 visa then)and yeah its so much faster than the K3 visa ..

and if you are married you have to file for K3.or CR1...

the K1 visa fee is 455$ but thats not everything .you will have to pay for medical exam (about 100$) plus you will have to pay for the visa fee (131$ at the CIB bank in Egypt)plus the DHL fee (almost 20$).the passport fee if you don't have one and the police record......

and yeah make sure that you save all the tickets, boarding passes, hotel receipts, pictures.......

Good luck and my best wishes for you (F)

Nothing's impossible . Nothing's unreachable .When I am weary you make me stronger

This love is beautiful .So unforgettable . I feel no winter cold when we are together .

Will you stand by me ?!!!Hold on and never let me go .

Will you stand by me?!! With you i know i belong . When the story gets told .

When day turns into night .I look into your eyes . I see my future now .All the world and its wonder

This love wont fade away. And through the hardest days . I will never question us .You are the reason my only reason.

I'm blessed to find what i need in a world loosing hope. you are my only believe .

You make things right every time after time.....

Will you stand by me ?!!!

I love you so much and i miss you so much more .

Here's a good link to follow to file K1. If you choose to wait to marry they seem to be moving faster in Cairo...read read read and save everything from her trip. Take pictures, save emails, phone bills anything you can.

The initial fee is made out to the Department of Homeland Security but read the directions and it will help you to originally file. Like others said there are additional fees at the interview that you will pay and for the medical. Let us know if we can help. Best wishes!

K1 costs around $455 right now to file.....then there is the medical exam and the costs of translations required by the Embassy you will have to do there in Egypt.....then once you receive the visa you will have to buy the ticket to USA and then once here you will pay $1010 USD for AOS Greencard. That is if the fees do not increase. Good Luck on your K1.
