if my girlfriend sent away for a k-1 visa, can i visit her while we are waiting for it?

if so, do i need to inform customs of that when crossing the border to visit her for a couple of weeks? will i get into trouble?

if i must mention it, would they hold me back from crossing? what info do i have to show and provide to avoid any trouble?

thank you!

You may attempt, but most of the time CBP denies people because they fear immigrant intent. You have to show really strong ties to your country.. They expect you to wait it out... Good luck

Yes, you can visit her, but it's been advised that you don't do this too often.

No, you don't have to inform them about the K1 if they don't ask. But if they ask, tell the truth.

To lower your chances of being turned away at the border, bring with you evidence that you'll be returning to your home country and have no intentions of staying in the US and/or marrying your girlfriend during your visit. Examples of evidence: job contract with pay stubs, mortgages, etc.
