in the form I-486 for AOS, in part three, u are asked the non immigrant visa number. i check my k1 visa and it only says control number. is that the number that they mean by 'non immigrant visa number'?

i am filling out form i-486 and not sure of what to fill out in some blank space at part 3.

it asks you your non immigrant visa no. can i fill it out with control no in the k1 visa since i do not find any other no indicated there?

The non-immigrant visa number is the red 8 digit number on the right side of the visa.

No, US citizens do not have an Alien number, only Aliens do. Write "None".

No, US citizens do not have an Alien number, only Aliens do. Write "None".
