I just got my interview letter (great to see that date in black and white..lol), I am looking at the list of Visa Interview Requirements and a little confused where it lists the Documents and then Document status. Where is says "yes/Document complete/reviewed" does this mean we still have to bring a copy of the document? Where it says Original Document received" should I still bring a copy of it?

Also, they list a OF-230-I and OF-230-II, is that the DS-230-I and DS-230-II? Should I also bring a copy of my I-130 that I sent?

Sorry for all the questions, just worried I will forget something.

I would make copies of everything Linda...you never know what they will want to keep or not keep.

I know I'm only doing a K1 interview, not an IR but I just made copies of everything I'm bringing just to be on the safe side.

Congrats again on the date!!! :star:

Hi Linda,

Where it says Document complete/reviewed - that means that they received it at NVC and reviewed it, which also means they should then forward it to the consulate and things like the marriage certificate and birth certificate originals should be returned to you at the interview (or in our case they mailed them back with the visa).

If you have a copy you should take it, can't hurt (if you didn't make copies, then don't worry about it :)). My Husband didn't take any copies of the civil documents that we had already submitted to NVC.

My Husband took a copy of the I-130 with him, in fact a copy of every form we sent in to USCIS/NVC, you never know what they are going to refer to and you may need to reference something.

One thing he did take, that they don't really 'require' is the additional 2 years of tax transcripts, which they DID want to see - so I would recommend that you have a copy on hand.

And yes, the OF-230 is the DS-230.
