USCIS website status date for I130 is not moving

Timeline

Hi,

How is everyone. This is my first message.

Did anyone notice that USCIS website status date for I130 is moving very slow, last month I checked it is the same as today 05/11/2006.

Just want to know if anyone feels the same or any thing to say.

12/19/2005: I130 Mailed.

12/22/2005: I130 NOA1 (Notice Date).

05/04/2006: I130 NOA2 (Approval).

05/17/2006: NVC assinged case#

05/29/2006: DS3032 and AOS bill fee generated.

06/01/2006: DS3032 and AOS bill fee sent, Express usps mail.

06/16/2006: Received IV Bill form and I-864 package.

06/19/2006: Send IV bill and I-864 express usps mail.

06/22/2006: IV bill fee entered in NVC system.

06/30/2006: DS-230 has generated

06/31/2006: Received DS-230.

07/10/2006: Sent DS-230

07/28/2006: Sent Passport Biographic page. Delayed because of name change.

08/08/2006: Case Complete @ NVC

08/17/2006: Case forwarded to embassy.

09/07/2006: Spouse received Packet 3.5 from embassy.

09/18/2006: Spouse send packet 3.5 to embassy.

10/20/2006: Wife arrived in US.

I29F K3

05/01/2006: I129F sent.

05/15/2006: I129F NOA1.

08/07/2006: Email approval notificationl of I129F.

08/14/2006: Case forwarded to embassy.

08/28/2006: Spouse recieved packet 3.5 and date of interview.

09/05/2006: Embassy canceld K3, since CR-1 @ embassy.

This happens some times.. must be a back log for Dec.. should update again a couple of weeks.. lets hope with a date in 2006 !!..

USCIS updates these dates once in a month.

These updates usually take place between 15 - 20th of each month.

05/03/2005 NOA1 for I-130 CR1

10/28/2005 NOA2

NVC Timeline

11/15/2005 - NVC case number assigned

01/04/2006 - NVC completed the case... ( 50 days)

01/11/2006 Case sent to Embassy

01/16/2006 Case deliverd to Embassy as per DHL tracking

February 7th, 2006 Found out Interview date by Calling DOS (202-663-1225)

February 13, 2006 - Packet 4 received

March 21st, 2006 - Medical

March 23rd, 2006 - Interview --- VISA APPROVED

March 24th - Passport received. ( Applicant picked up passport from Courier/delivery service office)

April 7th - Hubby's POE at Chicago.

April 10th - Trip to SSA Local office to apply for Social Security Card.

April 27th - 1st Welcome letter

May 1st - 2nd Welcome letter

May5th - Received Social Security card in mail

May 11th - Received Green Card in mail

196 Days @ USCIS ( 178 for NOA2 + 18 case transfer at NVC)

50 Days @ NVC to complete the case

13 Days @ case transfer at embassy

65 Days @ Embassy

Total -324 days from NOA1 to Visa approval

The site is meant to be updated bi-monthly (every two weeks approx)

[Yup that is true. I have seen them hange thrice a month too in the last year. Although I had not applied for I-130 then !

05-11-2006 : I-130 Received by NSC

05-11-2006 : Receipt Date

05-26-2006 : Notice Date

06-01-2006 : Check cleared

06-02-2006 : Received NOA1 in mail

06-03-2006 : touched (must be payment posted...)

10-07-2006 : approved

129F / K3

06-05-2006 : Mailed I-129F

06-09-2006 : NOA1

07-31-2006 : NOA2

08-10-2006 : NVC number assigned

08-11-2006 : sent to Consulate, India

08-14-2006 : packet 3 sent by embassy

08-28-2006 : pkt 4 collected from embassy

09-20-2006 : interview - approved!!!!

09-30-2006 : Honey I am home !
