Different POE than my fiancee told at the interview?

Hello all,

My fiancee had asked me what would be her POE before she had her interview yesterday. I told her that most likely, it would be Chicago but it could be Minneapolis, it just depends which flight is cheaper when I am searching for tickets. I'm looking at flights and Minneapolis is a few dollars less, and is 180 miles (round-trip) closer than Chicago. Plus, she will have fly with the same carrier on the trip (NWA), which will make it very easy at her only stop at Narita (Tokyo).

My question is, at the interview, she probably told the person "Chicago" and maybe it's written on some of the paperwork. If I send her to Minneapolis instead of Chicago, is she going to have any issues at the POE? I don't think it will be a problem, but it's always good to be 100% sure!

there will be no problem with that... like for me, in my interview i said my POE is Detroit then on actual is in Minneapolis.

It doesn't matter which POE you'll choose for your fiancee. Even if she had said or written somewhere that the POE would be Chicago but then later on change to another POE, it wouldn't affect anything nor cause any problems. Minneapolis was my POE and it was a breeze. The immigration officer was really nice and he was more concern about me having to go through a long flight than asking me too many questions.

Makes no difference where you enter the country, and yes it is fine to use a different one than may be mentioned at interview, the visa is NOT set to be used at a specific POE.

Minneapolis will be great, I've read other posts about it as a POE so it is my #1 choice for this area. Less traffic than Chicago too, hehe.
