Got home to find our Packet 3 waiting in my mailbox! Yay! :D

I'll send the DS-230 and checklist back tomorrow... and then it will be my turn to wait and wait for the Montreal interview appointment. ;)

2011 March 31 - Sent off Naturalization pkg overnight to Texas

2011 April 1 - Arrived in Texas at 10:21 am

2011 April 1 - NOA (rec'd via snail mail April 8)

2011 April 7 - Cheque cashed

2011 May 5 - Biometrics (letter rec'd via snail mail April 15)

2011 May 9 - Placed in line for interview scheduling

2011 June 13 - Rec'd yellow letter (no change in status online)

2011 June 23 - Rec'd text that my case has been scheduled for interview

2011 August 1 - Interview (rec'd via snail mail June 27) PASSED

2011 August 3 - Rec'd email that my case has been scheduled for Oath

2011 September 1 - Oath ceremony (rec'd snail mail Aug 5)

2011 September 1 - All done, yeah.

I just got a email from the Montreal Consulate about it. I assume it's a IMBRA thing, because it's the same letter/email others have gotten for it. This is just devastating after thinking things were going to fall into place for her to be down here right after Cdn. Thanksgiving.

What really bothers me is I got off the phone with USCIS 10 minutes before getting the email, and they told me everything appeared fine.

I'm sorry this has happened to you and your fiancee. I hope they get things sorted out for you (I hope they hired more people at the USCIS to help out with all the cases they recalled due to the IMBRA thing).

Since, as Bstnguy mentioned, our petition is being returned to USCIS :(, any ideas on if I should still send in the checklist today and attend the medical exam (which is scheduled for Monday) or hold off a bit and see how long this might take? I'm leaning towards continuing with everything, but I'd like to hear others' thoughts on it...
