Anyone email Montreal lately ? How long does it take them to reply ????

I emailed them on Saturday and they replied on Monday, so... the next business day. However, the answer was quite abrupt and could have been more clear. (I'd asked about the machine-readable visa fee that's required at the interview, since I'd thought that the cash I have to give them must be machine-readable or something... but I guess that part refers to the visa itself? anyone here knows?).

I think it refers to the visa forms...I'm not aware of money needing to be machine readable...unless somethings changed. I wish I could have been more help, although I am sure someone will happen along that can answer this for you. Best of luck! :luv:

Yeah, it's the visa that's machine-readable.

The only luck I had getting any information from Montreal was calling them during their rather restrictive hours that they'll answer the phone. They never answered my emails. Vancouver is great about communicating with fax and email but not so great about the phones. I dunno which is better but I wish they were more easy to communicate with. I guess that's just another hurdle they want to give us.

I emailed Montreal...they replied within the first day. Full of spelling mistakes and didn't answer all I asked but I got a reply.

Mine was the same. Looked like a 10 year old had responded. But I did get a reply within a day.

I have only had success by phone. They're very helpful when you get through to them. I think they're just very busy and dont have time to sift through emails. Just make sure you have your case number handy when you call them =)
