item 22 on I-130 form reads as follows:

22. Complete the information below if your relative is in the United States and will apply for adjustment of status.

Your relative is in the United States and will apply for adjustment of status to that of a lawful permanent resident at the USCIS office in: City ______ State ______

If your relative is not eligible for adjustment of status, he or she will apply for a

visa abroad at the American consular post in: City _____ Country _____

My wife does not live in the US and never have, so when I was filling the form i completely ignored this part and didn't put the country name and city name. k3 approvals don't seem to be getting out of VSC anytime soon, so I decided to go the CR1 route. Since I didn't fill in the country and city names, will that affect my CR1 process? will the packet be sent to the embassy?

I'm currently at the I-864 fee step for NVC.

Thank you very much

NVC will probably figure it out but you could just call them and make sure. You'll be sending them other forms and payments, so you can confirm in writing as well.
