I have this address and need to figure out how to best write it in English (STREETNAME is the name of the street):

In pinyin it was written:

STREETNAME96#41dong6men1#

In characters it was written:

STREETNAME96#41栋6门1#

Any expert ideas? Is it

96 STREETNAME

41 East 6 Place, #1 ????

Thanks.

My chinese wife said if you use pinyin in the first example it would be fine.

Street names are in Pinyin. Words like hotel, unit, apartment, etc. are in English. Numbers are numbers.

My wife and I often send things to China. We usually just write Nanning, Guangxi, China in English and she puts the delivery address in Chinese characters. It always gets there.
