My chinese wife said if you use pinyin in the first example it would be fine.

Street names are in Pinyin. Words like hotel, unit, apartment, etc. are in English. Numbers are numbers.

My wife and I often send things to China. We usually just write Nanning, Guangxi, China in English and she puts the delivery address in Chinese characters. It always gets there.
