As long as people have to wait for the noa2.........and then get the k1 visa........i personally would never put that in jeopardy at all not for anything........its too long of a wait and way too much trouble to refile or get bared from the USA because when u came in they found pics of a wedding when coming on a k1 visa

I certainly hope they will not BARE me, that'll be extremely embarassing!

peace (F)

Anyway, here's to your speedy NOA2 soon (F)(F)

You may want to re-read my post. My friends are not the only one who did it and they did it because they were willing to take the risk. Having said that, I asked the OP if she is willing to take the risk and jeopardize the whole thing. And I also said that I am not encouraging her to do the same.

Geez...

I've re-read your post and it still sounded like an oxymoron to me.

I know people who did it and they're ok but dont do it coz you might not be ok.

I just felt like you were encouraging and discouraging at the same time. Thats the only resaon I responded. Sorry if I offended you.

Not at all... We are all entitled to voice out opinion and I can respect yours... I guess that's what makes one forum a forum, right?

Cheers! (borrowed from Sheriff Uling)

I often wondered about this. We all know how slow the government is. It seems they would have no way of knowing if after receiving the visa you get married then jump on the plane a few hours later.

That's just it though. We dont know. Thats just one of the reasons why the consensus was... Dont fo it.

I'm sure they won't know especially if you won't take any photos of the ceremony. But what is a wedding without any picture taking right? :D

Well my fiance clarified it to me that if ever we will have the ceremony here, it will just be that, a ceremony and celebration. There will be no signing of documents.

Anyway, we have scraped that idea. So, I think you shouldn't do it too. Just my opinion :)
