any neopet players on here? if so, a neofriend of mine whom i've talked with via neomail off and on for about 4 years just sent me this:

Well, I didn't know how to break the news to you. I think I told you my right lung collapsed some time ago, well, I guess I have to say goodbye, the left lung has severe damage and it weakened the heart to the point it cannot function anymore. So, the last 2 weeks I thank God every morning when I wake up again, because I am dead if I don't. It was the first time I seen a doctor cry. I guess was his favorite and he is blaming himself a lot, because he didn't catch it in time to solve anything. Of course they all say it is the smoking, but I wonder what excuse they would use if I didn't smoke of course it didn't help matters. Now I am fighting for every breath I take and my heart is beating like a drum, because it is overworked. Medication or a bypass are out of the question, I would not survive it with half of one lung. I cried and cried and still can't believe it. So, I am saying goodbye to all my friends. I am so glad I got to know you a little, you would never have let her get away with ignoring her mother, her husband is a lazy no good for nothing bum. I wonder if she realizes that we all pay for our sins past and pressent. Take care of yourself, Love Sue
