Hi guys, how long does it take to get your NBI clearance?

Hi too,

Manila- Quiapo Main branch: Supposed to be only one day that's for people who has uncommon names , but for those who has very common names (like me), can't get it same day, they will give you date on when you will return for the release, normally after 2 or 3 working days.

shape is right... in carriedo branch its faster... :D i have a hit due to a government scholarship but it only takes 2 days to process... if you got a hit you will have an interview with an nbi agent... if not then you can get it in a day...

i guess its different on where you're getting it... the first time i got mine, took me about 2-3 hrs (they release it in the afternoon)... the 2nd time just took me 1-2 hrs since its a lesser crowd (its not a renew thing since i didnt brought my old one so they consider it as a new applicant)... the 3rd time, since i brought my old one, just took me 30-45 mins... if you're name is on hit, then they said it takes 15 working days to process (of course again, depends on what agency you're talking to i guess)... it does seem faster in my area compared to bigger cities... its really hard to decide which is which since we all coming from a different provinces/cities/region... best to relate is, if one is in that area or better yet go to the NBI agency itself and find out what their deals are, interms of releasing the nbi cert... good luck and God bless!!!

Citizenship N-400

It took me only an hour to get my NBI Clearance in QUIAPO since my name is unique and i dnt have any criminal records hehe . If your name got "hit" it'll take you 3 days to get your clearance ( my mom's name always gets hit so it always take her 3 days to get hers in Quiapo ) If you will renew NBI it will take you less than an hour but you have to bring your old NBI clearance for you to be able to renew. If you didn't bring it, then you'll be consider as a new applicant. I suggest that you apply and get an NBI ID ( P120.00 ) if your have namesake so that it'll be easier for you to renew NBI Clearance.
