I got through on the phone twice last week around 10:15-10:30PM Central time. So if you're in LA start trying around 8:10 PM and redial until you get in. The first time I called I got the nicest lady. Hope you get her. Lovely!

I tried at 8 in the morning waited almost 7-8 min and i found very rude lady was on other side and i called in evening at 4:30 eastern time and guy was nice and he has given me needed infromation(IIN)

Thank you for all of your replies regarding my inquiry on which time of the day is better to call NVC. However, I still have small clarification and I am sorry for this. Is NVC open 24 hours? Do they accomodate calls 24 hours? Or is there a specific time that they entertain calls? Please help. :help:

No, they're not open 24 hours. I know they close at 12AM EST and I think they open at 7:30AM EST. All times are EST.

09/27/07 - Interview, visa granted

10/02/07 - POE

11/16/07 - Received green card and Welcome to America letter in the mail

Removing Conditions

07/06/09 - I-751 sent to CSC

08/14/09 - Biometrics

09/27/09 - Approved

10/01/09 - Received 10 year green card

U.S. Citizenship

03/30/11 - N-400 sent via Priority Mail w/ delivery confirmation

05/12/11 - Biometrics

07/20/11 - Interview - passed

07/20/11 - Oath ceremony - same day as interview
