You should bring something from the Embassy that states your interview schedule (email confirmation from USEM after you called them for ur interview sched and/or the letter from USEM). I am not sure if the email from NVC will work at SLEC. Somebody should know this.

After you have successfully scheduled your interview, the USEM will send you an email confirmation. You can then print this out & use this for your medical exam. This is what I did for my early medical exam.

hey girl how are u?! i miss chatting with you! anyway, once u approved to nvc.. nvc will forward ur case to u.s embassy. probably it will take 3weeks for nvc to send ur case to u.s embassy. and u will received a packet 3. it's just a notice from USE that ur case is in now with them and indicates ur MNL case number. and in my case, it took a month when i finally received the packet 4 (after packt 3) that's ur schedule for interview and medical. then u can now do ur early medical just present ur packet 4. or in some vj members didnt get their packet 4 on time, u can also check ur case number to USE website - just enter ur case number. and u can call st lukes that u already seen ur interview date and medical sched online, you can ask st lukes if u can get ur packet 4 from them and do early medical. i think some people did.

Don't know if some rules really changed in St. Lukes but during my time, you can take your NOA2 with you to have an early medical. I know some applicants who did that and they are now here in US.

can the exam be the same day as the interview? My fiancee has to take off work in order to fly to Riyadh for the interview.

Chris

I don't believe so, the Embassy says at least one week beforehand, plus the medical is a 2 day process and they need to forward your info to the embassy. But hey, it couldn't hurt to ask while you talk to the embassy. The clinic will hang onto your passport to forward to the embassy and the embassy will hang onto it until they stamp the visa in it and send it.
