What do you think about people who marry for the GC?

Ok, so I know you hate illegals...

What do you think about people who marry for the GC? I mean people who come to the U.S. legally (to study or whatever) and find someone who will marry them for the GC. I'm NOT talking about those that marry someone for the GC and their "spouse" doesn't know - I'm talking about a deal.

What is your opinion/thoughts on this?

11/2004 - Met in Brazil

09/2006 - Apply for K1

03/2007 - K1 approved

04/2007 - Apply for AOS & EAD

07/2007 - EAD approved

01/2008 - Conditional Residency approved

11/2009 - Apply to remove conditions

02/2010 - Permanent Residency approved

11/2010 - Apply for Citizenship

03/2011 - Citizenship approved

07/2011 - Moved back to Brazil

One reason why the process takes so long, ppl who legitimatly (sp) want to marry have to wait so long bc of ppl marrying just to stay it puts more petitions in USCIS than should be.

I think its BS, and i dislike those types of ppl, JMHO :whistle:

The only good thing that I can write about folks who marry for a green card is that at least they accounted for in our system (we can argue the moral or ethical value later). Both the act of coming to this country illegally and scamming the system through marriage are vile acts that warrant deportation from our great nation.
