Hi! I posted this question in the "Working and Traveling" thread but got no responses. I would really appreciate it if someone would point me in the right direction.

I recently was hired for a new job which begins on Feb 13, contingent on drug screening and background check. My AOS interview is on March 7, I am the applicant and my husband is a USC.

We have filed taxes as married filing jointly for the last two years, and for the AOS application, we sent an I-864 and and I-864A with me as the co-sponser, since it was a joint tax filing. This is my first job, I have never worked since getting married.

What I would like to know is what I should take to the interview concerning my new job. Paystubs? A new I864 and I864A?

Thanks, any insight is appreciated.

Does your husband meet poverty guidelines by himself? I'm not very familiar with I-864 intricacies, but it would seem that *your* job does not play much of a role, unless it materially changes your situation. Were you required to be a co-sponcor?

Perhaps others would have more insights.

He makes well above the guidelines, and the only reason I filed as a co sponser was because we filed a joint tax return.

Ok, thanks for your reply.

Then you don't need a new I-864, as I understand.
