I think you may have to put the lipstick in your carry on. One time when I was flying to the US they made me take my chapstick out of my carry on; it was only 2 days after the new restrictions though....maybe they were being extra strict. Everything else is ok to carry on.

To Sum Up. For Carry on Baggage, no Sharp Objects (Scissors, Clippers, and ets) obviously. Liquids must be in a visible container of no more the 3 ounces or 100 ml and must be stored in a visible plastic bag which will be displayed when going thru the various security at the airports. anything else would be stored in Check in baggage

i had my lipstick/powder when i first came here to the US... regulation changes when we went back home to phil though... you can still bring your make-up as a carry on (pertaining it doesnt consist of 3.0 oz of liquid i think) but they will let you put it in a ziplock plastic bag and you have to take it out from your bag just like a laptop and they will scan it plus some officer will look at it too... nothing major just making sure they know whats the content... my husband even brought a small liquid gel tootpaste w/ him and it went fine for us... hope everything will be smooth on ya... and besides if they say hey no make-up, its not the end of the world to leave it at the airport (hmmm im not sure for some but i can still live w/ out make  but of course we want to freshen up before our SO will see us hahahah so make-up helps  ) good luck and God bless!!! happy trip!!!
