ASC Appointment - How do we change location?

Hello everyone!

I'm very new here, in fact just registered.. I've been looking for a forum like this for a while and finally found it!! :star:

Not very nice of me to start off with asking for help, but I really need some opinions here :innocent:

My husband and I filed my AOS paperwork just recently (I came in as a K-1 and we got married). It turns out we now have to move from Jersey to Ohio and we'll be there by the end of this week. Trying to make it right, I changed my address with USCIS online immediately and as soon as I printed the last confirmation receipt I got an ASC Appointment Notice (for my fingerprints) scheduled at Newark Local Office for May 15.

My next step was calling USCIS customer service and when I eventually got through to talk to a human being I was told that it is unnecessary to change location of the appointment and that I could just show up at Cleveland ASC office with my original notice for Newark and they'd process me.

For some reason, I find it a bit hard to believe it's gonna be that easy,.. :unsure:

I was wondering if some of you, guys, could share opinions/experinces on the matter :help:
