Yeah, we got the same info. We're really only getting another one "just in case" since it only took us 10 minutes anyway.

IF MONTREAL CONSULATE STATES

certificate should be issued in twelve months preceeding final interview.

thats good enough for red.

jumped the gun by getting mine in may 05

also got a second one in march 06

will do all I CAN not to get another.

of course I will confirm with Montreal consulate on this matter

also there was a 33percent increase in rcmp clearance

from 2005 to 2006

inflation ???

hey "dammit" we are just behind you in "queue"

so will keep my beady eye on ya case proceeding.

off to montreal for weekend this friday, I am hoping to persuade

the powers that be to have the interview during a week in sept that suits.

well will have a go anyway

Thanks for all the replies. If it says in package 3 that they are good for 12 months than I will go with that. I was thinking of emailing them just for a bit more piece of mine like someone suggested. What is the email for Montreal?

Thanks

if you look at the top under EMBASSY INFO, the email addy is there

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

Please do! I'm constantly stalking the timelines of those that were approved a month or so before us. It has now been 6 weeks, 3 days since our case completion. Roughly 12 weeks until our interview!
