I'd wait until at least June 17th or after. You need to be out of the country as much as you are in.

If you were here three months, stay there for three months, then you can come back.

There's no way to know if you will have any problems at POE, depends on the officer you deal with.

Showing strong ties and staying out as much as you are in, should be safe.

Be prepared for second interview just in case.

As LoriLawless said, dont go back to early. Your allowed 6 months visit within a 1 year period. Take as much proof with you as you can. It's all up to the officer at the POE when it comes to it.

The VWP allows you to enter for 90 dyas at a time. There is no written guidelines on how much time you can spend in the US during a 12 month period. For example, my fiance spent nearly 9 months in a 12 month period with as little as six weeks in between the first 2 visits and about 11 weeks in between vists 3 and 4. On the third visit, he was grilled for a while. They didn't think he was a terrorist, but that he was technically living in the US. So, if they think you are abusing the true purpose of the VWP, you may be hassled.

It will really all boil down to the Immigrations officer at the POE. Just be calm, truthful and prepared to show ties to the UK.

Good luck!!

Just wanted to reiterate what Julez said so there is no confusion. There is no law that states you must stay away for a certain amount of time or that limits you to a certain amount of time per year.

We had similar circumstances... after living together abroad, he basically lived here in the US with me from August 2006 to September 2007... in and out of the country many times. Usually very little time between re-entry. Last trip back he was denied entry. It is at the discretion of the POE officer. We're lucky to have spent as much time together as we did. ;)

If this is your first time back I wouldn't worry too much about it. Just be sure to bring ties as stated above and understand that there is that chance you could be turned back.

good luck
