Timeline

not sure if this has been covered or not. i got my notice that my case was sent to the NVC and i have the case number, but when i call and check on status it just says no information is available. is this normal?

Yes, it's normal. K1 cases usually stayed at NVC less than a week before it sent to US Consulate so they're not updated in the automated system, if you want to know NVC have received your case and/or it's already sent to consulate, call NVC number and talk to a representative.

06/24/08 - Visa pick-up

07/17/08 - US Entry (POE:LAX)

thanks. i am trying to judge time to my time until my fiancee will get her interview, but i know with the government it can be hard to do. i know it will help if we get all document s together to send them back when we get packet # 3.

Biometrics : Received Appointment Letter Today April 27th = May 23rd 2008 10 am appointment

EAD: Approved June 13th 2008

AP: Approved June 13th 2008

AP: Received June 18th 2008

AOS:touched :Card ordered July 26th

Approval: AOS : Aug 4th

Green Card :Received : Aug 5th with Welcome Letter . 2 years Dated July 26th
