do i say i go visit my boyfriend or my fiance ??

i would think bf is the safest and that anyway a fiance is just a very serious bf...

Personally, I would say fiance. When hubby and I were in the K-1 process, the guard was able to pull up that info. on the computer as he ran hubby's passport, so he knew we were engaged. The concern in saying boyfriend would be if the guard thinks you are being deceitful.

Don't give TOO much info., but answer honestly and show TONS of proof of ties to Canada and that you are planning to return. A return ticket is always a good sign

Wel lif ya say boy friend and then pull out ur K1 fiance visa for evidence, could cause problems. I would say fiance!

Hopefully they will ask "business or pleasure", state pleasure and that ur returning on such a such date

I said Fiance hon...it was fine.

They will probably ask you when you plan to get married, how far in the K1 process you are, etc. etc. etc.

Just be calm and honest and you should be just fine.

I always say boyfriend b/c I don't yet have an engagement ring and technically haven't been proposed to yet. (I know, late in the game, ). If you have a shiny diamond on your left hand I'd suggest saying fiance but most importantly, as others have said, tell the truth. Ultimately though, I think it's not terribly important, and you shouldn't stress about it.

lol i had a small shiny diamond that i managed to lost....doh!

Now i more have like a simple family wedding band that i wear just because i miss him !
