Hi to all:

I would like to send more evidence of my marriage to add to my file. My evidence is a document showing that my wife and I have purchased a property together. This is one of the evidences that Immigration asks for, but when I filed I did not have the papers yet. I would like to know the steps of doing this so I can add the document to my file.

Thanks in advance to all of you.

Tnaks YuanDan for your reply but we filed in December 2007 and all we have to show for is one touch. We sent affidavits of wedding witnesses, marriage certs and all the required things such ad birth certs etc. We did not send pics but could do so. All we want to do is mail more evidence to Immigration to add to our file. Steps on how to do this is what we want to know. I guess interview is very far away for us at this time.

People ask this quite often on VJ. Unless you receive an RFE from USCIS, there is no way to send additional items to them and hope they get matched up to your case.

Again this is stuff to bring to visa interview to be used as ongoing relationship evidence, USCIS only needs evidence from BEFORE the visa petition was filed.

 It will never get matched with the file. If you get an RFE, answer it. Otherwise, take the relationship evidence to the interview.
