It is true or not? I just talked to my lawyer and hi said received the information package at 04/21st. Hi said it is a cover letter and a barcode sheet and hi have to send it back to NVC. With the DS-230. I asked him if I have to send the original documents to him and hi said is not needed at this time! My understanding is have to go back with the DS-230! It is true or not? Or I’m misinformed Thank you for the kind answers!

Regards

From my understanding all documents sent to the NVC need to be original documents. I do know that depending on the country the interview is in there are dfferent processes. An example of what I am saying is , some consulates only require you to sign and send in part 1 of the DS 230 , leaving part 2 unsigned and to be brought to the interview. Other countries require you to sign part one , leave part 2 unsigned and send them both in. You can check to see what is required on one of the websites (which i forgot at this point and I am hoping someone can provide a link for you) to see what your countries rules are. But Im pretty sure that all NVC documents need to original.
