I am flying to Vancouver tomorrow for my interview on Tuesday and just going through a final checklist:

1.Passport

2.Photos

3. 156 and 156K forms

4. Police Certificates

5. Evidence of Support, I-134

6. Evidence of Relationship (photo album, boarding passes, e-mails, cards, phone records, credit card statements, hotel bills, wedding dress receipt)

7. Translations of non English documents.

8. Birth Certificate

9. Medical Envelope

10. $100 USD

11. Copies of all documents

I am so nervous, not sure if I've got everything, just want to make sure this is all that's needed. Thanks.

I will post my experience at the consulate once I am back to Calgary, later next week

Awww Congrats !! It looks to me like you have everything in order .. I hope it all goes well for you :thumbs: From what i have read it's not as painful as it all might seem ( lets hope ) I have a Question for you if you don't mind though .. as far as I-134 for Vancouver .. i have been trying to find out if they require 1 years income tax returns or 3 years like some places ( this info seems to be like a secret code ) .. if you help that would so rock !! And if not good luck anyways

Good luck from another couple who just got approved in Vancouver last month!

Robin - re: tax returns.

They only asked me for 1 year of returns, the also took the letter from my employer stating how much I make a year.

I did bring three years of returns just in case however. I think it all depends on how close to the poverty line you actually are, as to the evidence they want. I'd bring more, just in case.

seems like forever since my interview and I was so nervous...but it was a breeze and everyone was so nice and helpful......They didn't ask for hardly anything, but it is better to have it all just in case. If you were married before you MUST have your original (or certified) copies of all prior marriage license and divorce certificates ...and your long form birth cerfificates (petitoner and benificiary) and leave all your cell phones and bags at home...they won't let you take them in.....good luck..it'll be a snap.

Biometrics done on Apr 21, at St. Paul office..wait some more......
