H E L P !!!! Visa on hold at the embassy

Well......

Since she won't be able to come to my country in about 4 months,,,

Should we fax the US embassy in my country where we will have our next interview, stating that she won't be able to come until then, and to please add this proof to our case numer BGT.............?

Fax what? What proof?

We were thinking to fax to the embassy a medical excuse, stating she cannot go in an airplane until her treatment is over, ( because the consul may think that my fiance is to come with in a month, even though we have 1 year to go to the embassy for the interview)..just thinking that it would be kind of weird for her to show up in a long period of time....

We were also thinking to call the NVC, and explainto them she won't be able to come!

Don't get your question here ,its vague.You both should attend interview within 1 yr with all documents required or asked by them ,you can preferably suggest them a particular date or month ,rest is upto them.Hope this helps.

I wouldn't make any excuse, I recomend you to email them (they answer) ivbogota@state.gov, do you have a new appointment? if not send your fiance any thursday 1:30pm to the embassy to ask what to do, that what I did with my problem and they said I could brin the information I was missing any day at 7:30 am, so try in this way. best wishes

well, she is not going to be able to make it here before august!....

She has an excuse, we could show to the embassy consul, ....

This sucks! we even had reservations for our wedding!!!!

we had everything well planned.

We are so dissapointed
