I listened to my lieyer(lawyer....lol) and once again was given RETARDED advice,,she said I HAD HAD HAD to have the medical done again in the states(200.00 each for me and my daughter in Canada in September..and then 180.00 each in Charleston in January!) Had I known all I needed was the vaccination thing..I could have saved money..TIME and alot less stress..now I find out it was all for not!!?!? **smacks self in the head****smacks lawyer in the head too**

Just my opinion on it. I'd rather go ahead and submit it with the application than run the risk of waiting for an interview, and having my medical expire when the interview comes around (the medical you had as a K1 applicant is only good for 1 year).

The medical just needs to be valid at the time of AOS application. They don't make you redo it at the time of approval if it's past a year.

I know that statement contradicts itself. It says you need to submit a vaccination supplement, and then it says you may include one in your application. I read that as saying "One is required, you can either submit it with the application, or we'll ask for it later, but it's needed."

I didn't include it because of the info that I found on the USCIS website though I saw the above mentioned info too... These two just confuse people. I went (in my eyes) the easy way and took the chance and didn't include ANY medical info. If the are gonna send me a RFE for it so be it. I totally don't care

I stand corrected. From looking around they do make you send one in for the K-1 and not just for the AOS.
