Hey y'all,

Just a quick, stupid question: I had my medical yesterday, at the panel physician in Hamburg (Germany). They did all their tests with me, and finally let me go with my x-ray. I asked twice if they wouldn't have to mail it to the consulate, but they said "No no, you're supposed to have it with you when you enter the US". Prior to that, my understanding was that you get your x-ray back after the interview.

So my question is, who of you got their x-ray handed after the medical already ?

Yes that is standard procedure, the consulate has no use for the x-rays, the doctor at your medical used them to look for TB.

From every post I have read the US POE has not asked for them either, but it is a good idea to keep them in your carry on when comming to the USA just in case.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.
