Divorce after filing for AOS

Hi, I arrived here (US) in July 2007 and was then married in August. We filed all the relevant paperwork and are still waiting on the AOS coming through... they have taken so long that I now need to go get another medical examination because the previous one expired.

Well anyway, all that paperwork stuff aside... my problem that I am needing advice on, is that I have recently found that my wife has been seeing another man for the majority, if not all of our marriage. Needless to say we no longer live together and I am keen to get a divorce and try to start my life again. I was wondering if anyone knew whether it would be possible to get annullment? or what I have to do when divorce is started? Should I inform the USCIS now or wait til after divorce? Also, where does that leave me in terms of AOS? I honestly don't think I will mind if I have to go back to Ireland... I am 50/50 as to whether I want to stay here or not anyway.

I would really appreciate if someone can shine some light on this for me. Thanks

Edited to add: particularly read Part C.

What grounds would you have to request an annulment of this marriage?

"diaddie mermaid"

You can 'catch' me on here and on FBI.
